Founded and led by Obstetrician & Gynaecologist Dr Yasmin Pilgrim, Empowher Women’s Health delivers personalised, woman-centred obstetric and gynaecological care on the Gold Coast.
Dr Yasmin holds a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBBS) and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) — combining deep clinical expertise with a warm, holistic approach that ensures women feel informed, supported, and confident in every decision about their health.
She is joined by Katie Atkins, a registered midwife with over 20 years’ experience in maternity care, who leads our collaborative midwifery support — so you have access to both an obstetrician and a dedicated midwife throughout your journey.
Now open at Pindara Private Hospital, where Dr Yasmin holds admitting rights, Empowher Women’s Health provides comprehensive obstetric, gynaecological, and midwifery services — thoughtfully designed to support women through every stage of life, from adolescence and fertility care through to pregnancy, birth, postpartum, menopause, and beyond.
